Bath & Brush

Available on Tuesdays & Wednesdays

Dog-Gone Fun offers a new grooming service, the Bath & Brush. This service is a step above our regular bath. It includes a spa bath, ear cleaning, full blow dry, nail grinding, brush out, and minor trimming.

Bath & Brush is beneficial for all dogs who have an undercoat and tend to have mats. Examples are Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Australian Shepherds, etc. By brushing out the undercoat, shedding is kept to a minimum. Bath and Brush also includes trimming up paw pads, feet, feathers, etc. When kept on a regular schedule it will dramatically reduce the amount of hair on your floors!

Other dogs that will benefit from this new service are dogs that get regular haircuts from a groomer, but want to get a bath and brush out in between grooms. This is perfect for Poodles, Doodles, Bichons, Shih Tzu, etc. This is NOT a replacement for regular grooming appointments, but instead helps prevent matting in between haircuts. The brush out is to get out minor tangles and knots before they become full-fledged mats. Dogs must be kept on a regular grooming schedule in order to receive this service.

Bath & Brush is available on Wednesday afternoons. Daycare/boarding is not required for this service, but we recommend a half day of daycare and a Bath & Brush in the afternoon. They can be dropped off in the morning and picked up when they are ready to go!

Rates: Starting at $50 per hour, depending on the dog’s behavior during grooming and coat condition.
