Jan Wilson, owner of Dog-Gone Fun, has been in the dog profession for over 25 years.  Her love for dogs is evident in all aspects of her life, from her experience in veterinarian science, to dog training, and in her personal life.  Growing up in Maine, Jan has owned dogs from childhood, and currently has three wonderful dogs at home. Jan started working at veterinary hospitals at the age of 16, learning all aspects of the animal world. She graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in biology.

The experience of managing the kennel gave Jan a working knowledge of the everyday care of multiple dogs and their personalities.  Her work with the behaviorist led her into dog training, teaching obedience classes and working with dogs with behavior problems.

Jan is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, a nationally known organization for professional dog trainers.
